Every order is carefully packed by hand and dispatched.
Processing times vary depending on the product. Ready-to-ship items are usually dispatched within 2–5 business days. Handmade or made-to-order products may require additional production time. Any extended processing time will always be stated on the relevant product page.
Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a confirmation email together with tracking information where available.
Delivery times depend on the destination country and the selected shipping service. Please note that delivery estimates are provided as a guide only and may occasionally be affected by customs processing, public holidays or circumstances beyond our control.
Orders shipped outside the European Union, including Switzerland and the United Kingdom, may be subject to import VAT, customs duties or handling fees charged by the destination country. These charges are the responsibility of the customer.
Your order will be shipped via CTT, UPS, DHL or DPD. Usually we ship with CTT or UPS.
We currently ship to the following countries:
United Kingdom, Switzerland, Belgium, Bulgaria, Denmark, Germany, Estonia, Finland, France, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Croatia, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, the Netherlands, Austria, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Sweden, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Czech Republic, Hungary and Cyprus.
If you would like your order to be shipped outside these countries, feel free to contact us via email or Instagram and we will see what is possible.
Returns
If you change your mind, you may return eligible items within 14 days of receiving your order.
To request a return, please contact us at byhumanhand@gmail.com before sending your item back.
Returned items must:
be unused
be in their original condition
include all original packaging where applicable
be securely packaged for return shipping
The customer is responsible for the cost of returning the goods unless otherwise required by applicable law.
We recommend using a tracked shipping service, as we cannot issue a refund for items that are lost during return transit.
Refunds will be processed within 14 days after we have received the returned goods or received proof that they have been sent back, whichever occurs first.
Refunds are made using the original payment method.
Damaged or Incorrect Items
Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives.
If your order arrives damaged, defective or you receive the wrong item, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery and include photographs showing the issue.
We will work with you to find a fair solution as quickly as possible.
Handmade, Vintage & One-of-a-Kind Products
Many products sold through byhumanhand are individually handmade or carefully sourced vintage pieces.
Small variations in colour, texture, size, glazing, stitching or finish are a natural part of handmade craftsmanship and should not be considered defects.
Vintage products may show minor signs of age or previous use where described in the product listing.
Made-to-Order & Personalised Products
Products that are personalised or made specifically to your individual requirements cannot be cancelled or returned once production has begun, except where required by applicable consumer protection law.
This does not affect your statutory rights if the item is faulty or not as described.
EU Right of Withdrawal
Right of Withdrawal If you are a consumer residing in the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day on which you, or a third party indicated by you (other than the carrier), acquire physical possession of the goods. To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us by means of a clear statement (for example by email or post). Effects of Withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse all payments received from you, including the original standard delivery costs (excluding any additional costs resulting from your choice of a more expensive delivery method), without undue delay and no later than 14 days after receiving the returned goods or proof that they have been sent back. The refund will be made using the same payment method that you used for the original transaction unless expressly agreed otherwise. You must return the goods without undue delay and no later than 14 days after notifying us of your withdrawal. You are responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods. You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning.
Exceptions
The right of withdrawal does not apply, where permitted by applicable law, to: personalised products; goods made to the consumer's specifications; sealed goods that are unsuitable for return for health or hygiene reasons once unsealed; other statutory exceptions under applicable consumer protection legislation.
