2. Products

byhumanhand offers a curated selection of handmade, artist-made, vintage and carefully sourced products.

Many of our products are individually handcrafted or produced in small batches. Minor variations in colour, texture, glaze, pattern, stitching, finish, size or material are a natural characteristic of handmade craftsmanship and do not constitute defects.

Vintage items may show signs of age or previous use where this is described in the product listing.

Product photographs are intended to represent items as accurately as possible. Colours may vary slightly depending on individual screen settings and lighting conditions.

3. Availability

All products are offered subject to availability.

As many items are one-of-a-kind or produced in limited quantities, products may occasionally become unavailable before an order can be fulfilled.

If this occurs, we will notify you promptly and issue a full refund for any unavailable item.

4. Ordering

When placing an order, you confirm that:

• you are legally capable of entering into binding contracts;

• the information you provide is accurate and complete;

• you are authorised to use the selected payment method.

An order confirmation acknowledges receipt of your order but does not constitute acceptance. A contract is formed once your order has been accepted and dispatched.

5. Prices

All prices are displayed in Euros (€).

As a small business operating under Section 19 of the German VAT Act (UStG), no VAT is charged or shown separately on invoices.

Prices do not include customs duties, import taxes or other charges that may apply to deliveries outside the European Union.

6. Payment

We currently accept payment through:

• Stripe

• PayPal

Payment must be successfully authorised before an order is processed.

7. Shipping

Orders are dispatched from Germany.

Estimated processing times are shown on product pages where applicable.

Delivery times are estimates only and cannot be guaranteed.

Customers outside the European Union, including Switzerland and the United Kingdom, are responsible for any customs duties, import taxes or local handling fees imposed by their destination country.

8. Right of Withdrawal

Consumers within the European Union have statutory withdrawal rights.

9. Returns

Returns are accepted in accordance with our Shipping & Returns Policy.

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless otherwise required by law.

Returned items must be unused, in their original condition and returned within the applicable return period.

Refunds are issued using the original payment method.

10. Personalised & Made-to-Order Products

Products that are personalised or manufactured according to individual customer specifications cannot normally be cancelled or returned after production has begun, except where required by applicable consumer protection law.

This does not affect your statutory rights regarding faulty or incorrectly supplied goods.

11. Damaged or Incorrect Goods

Please inspect your order upon delivery.

If your order arrives damaged or you receive the wrong product, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible and include photographs where appropriate.

We will work with you to resolve the issue promptly.

12. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, photographs, artwork, graphics, product descriptions, branding and design elements, remains the property of byhumanhand or the respective artist or rights holder unless otherwise stated.

No content may be copied, reproduced or commercially used without prior written permission.

13. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion is not permitted by applicable law.

Subject to mandatory consumer protection laws, our liability is limited to the value of the goods purchased.

We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses except where required by law.

14. Privacy

Your personal information is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

15. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany.

Where mandatory consumer protection laws in the customer's country of residence apply, those mandatory rights remain unaffected.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.

The version published on this website at the time an order is placed will apply to that order.
